ASSIGNMENT: Cookbook Cover – 5x4
STUDENT COMMENT: This image was taken during a studio lighting class. The aim was to design and produce a cover image for a cookbook. The challenge however, was to capture the image on 5x4 Large Format transparency film. I chose this image because it combines many of my passions! Tradition, nostalgia and romanticism has played a major role in my work for the past couple of years and has been the driving force for my past two folios entitled “Field to Fork and “The Artisan Trades”.
