PSC Creative College (formerly Photography Studies College) is a multi-award-winning higher education institution delivering sector-leading education in photography, digital imaging, screen media, graphic design, and fashion design. Located in South Melbourne within a vibrant creative precinct, PSC offers both face-to-face and flexible online study options. With over 50 years of experience, the college provides hands-on, real-time learning led by industry professionals, supporting students to explore creativity, build technical expertise, and graduate industry-ready from anywhere in Australia.
OUR COURSES
PHOTOGRAPHY COURSES
PSC offers hands-on photography courses teaching creative vision, technical skills, and professional practice, from undergraduate certificates to masters degree, guided by industry professionals on campus or online learning.
SCREEN MEDIA COURSES
PSC offers screen media courses teaching visual storytelling, production, editing, cinematography and AI-enhanced digital content skills from introductory certificates to a Bachelor of Screen Media, preparing students for careers in film, TV and digital media.
DESIGN COURSES
PSC offers online Fashion Design and Graphic Design courses, building creative and technical skills, professional portfolios, and industry-ready graduates prepared for contemporary global design careers across diverse sectors.
PSC also offers short courses and flexible online courses for beginner and intermediate creatives, covering photography, screen media, and design. These courses build practical digital skills while fitting seamlessly around busy schedules.
With a total student population of around 300 – 130 of which are Higher Education students – PSC students benefit from an intimate creative learning environment and high quality industry specific facilities. PSC facilities include the professional studios, a state of the art digital imaging and printing centre, digital laboratories, the information resources hub and continual exhibition spaces.
PSC offers an excellent student to teacher ratio. Our students learn with some of the best in the creative industries – qualified professionals who constantly bring their current practice, commitment to great educational outcomes and expertise to the classroom. These dedicated teachers are an important factor in the high quality and innovation of the work produced by students.
A well-established mentor program linking students to respected industry professionals provides the opportunity to forge ongoing industry links and networks, and provides a sound basis for quality career outcomes.
