To me the world is both solid and tangible juxtaposed with the visceral and ethereal. My work focuses on these spiritual and physical boundaries and finding the essence of people, places and experiences.
While cameras record 'reality', I am most interested in exploring what I can sense but can’t necessarily see; how life 'feels' as opposed to how it ‘looks’.
This series explores these ideas, using light as a symbol of the spark of life and how we are capable of both projecting and reflecting it on the world around us.
