As part of our mission to create an international centre of photographic excellence and education, PSC is building bridges between Australia and Asia, including China and Japan, through our innovative photographic programs. The common attribute of our tour participants is a passion for photography, and we provide during the tour extended opportunities for image capture. The tour is designed for emerging professional photographers to advance their career, experienced photographers who want guidance to identify photo opportunities and best compose their images or improve their photographic skills on location.

Explore the best of Southern China and Hong Kong with internationally acclaimed photographer Michael Coyne. With Michael’s support and guidance you will photograph diverse cultures, people and landscapes.
From dawn to dusk you will experience bustling markets, ancient rice terraces, the famous long haired Zhuang people and the Tibetan villages of Danba.
Enjoy the contrasts of the beautiful landscapes of rural China through to the panoramic night views of Hong Kong harbour. These are just some of the many highlights of this once in a lifetime photography tour.

Michael Coyne is a renowned international photojournalist and Fujifilm Ambassador. He has run Photo-Workshops in South East Asia, Japan, The Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. He is a Senior Fellow at PSC (2011-present), and mentors the students of PSC, particularly those interested in photojournalism, documentary and travel photography.
He has been published in National Geographic, Time, Newsweek
and the Smithsonian amongst others.
Michael has extensive knowledge of Southern China and Hong Kong. He worked in the region and was based in Hong Kong for over 25 years.

Tours are designed for photographers at all levels who have a passion for travel and improving their image making.
All participants are expected to have working knowledge of their camera and computer.

A non- refundable deposit to Wandering the World of $A1,000 per person is required to secure your booking (land arrangements only), prior to 31 May 2019 or at the time of booking flights. Full costs and arrangements can be found under 'Terms & Conditions' in the trip guide.
If the trip does not reach minimum numbers, the trip will be cancelled 70 days from departure and a refund of the $A1000 (deposit) will be returned.

Flight Departs on the evening of 15th September ex Melbourne CX 134 at 07.35 am arriving Hong Kong at 15.10 pm 15th September.
A non-refundable deposit of $A300.00 per person is required to secure flights and issuance of travel insurance by Travel Counsellors. Final balance is due for all passengers travelling, no later than 4 June 2019.
