As part of our mission to create an international centre of photographic excellence and education, PSC is building bridges between Australia and Japan through our innovative photographic programs. The common attribute of our tour participants is a passion for photography, and we provide during the tour extended opportunities for image capture. The tour is designed for emerging professional photographers to advance their career, experienced photographers who want guidance to identify photo opportunities and best compose their images or improve their photographic skills on location.

Our bespoke tour focuses on Southern Honshu and Shikoku Islands, the centre of Imperial Japan that now forms a major hub for industry and tourism. We also offer an optional extension to visit Tokyo, one of the world's great cities.
The beauty and charm of Japan's least visited island, Shikoku are combined with the vibrant markets, architectural wonders, stunning landscapes and cultivated gardens that are a feature of Kansai region and its 3 world renowned cities - Osaka, Nara and Kyoto - and the 20th Century's enduring monument to peace and resilience, Hiroshima.
Accompanying us and providing expert photographic support will be renowned international photojournalist Michael Coyne and Japan-based Australian commercial photographer Steph Doran.
Our unique tour will allow you to explore your photographic ideas and interests, offering you unparalleled access to the people cities and culture of Japan. Suitable for students and emerging photographers, experienced photographers who are interested in a flexible format, aspiring photographers, the shared attribute of our tour participants is a passion for photography and for capturing great images.

Tours are designed for photographers at all levels who have a passion for travel and improving their image making.
All participants are expected to have working knowledge of their camera and computer.

A non- refundable deposit of $A1,000 per person is required to secure your booking (land arrangements only), prior to 31 May 2018 or at the time of booking flights. Full costs and arrangements can be found under 'Terms & Conditions' in the trip guide.
If the trip does not reach minimum numbers, the trip will be cancelled 70 days from departure and a refund of the $A1000 (deposit) will be returned.

Flight Departs on the evening of 8th September ex Melbourne CX 178 at 23.40 then CX 594 Hong Kong to Kansai at 8.00am CX594 arriving Osaka at 12.50pm Sunday 9 September.
A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required to secure flights and issuance of travel insurance by Travel Counsellors. Final balance is due for all passengers travelling, no later than 4 June 2018.
