You will be given access to one of Melbourne’s largest professional and fully-equipped photography studios, and connected with industry networks exclusive to the college. PSC offers you a real-world learning experience that will get you jobs, and you will be guided by expert teaching staff who are working photographers and leaders in their field. Whether you choose to study face-to-face OR in real-time via Zoom, all PSC students receive the same level of teacher guidance and support. |

| Your Gateway to the Industry Enter the photography industry, qualify for professional jobs or upskill for work with our real-world focus and course outcomes. The career opportunities that will open to you are endless from working as a photographer for fashion, news and weddings to roles in social media as well as upskilling for your own business. You will build your industry know-how and best practice through visual and technical literacy, ongoing image feedback, problem-solving scenarios and collaborative learning. You are also encouraged to connect with industry through awards, networks, mentors, exhibitions and your industry leading teachers. |
In gaining your Certificate IV in Photography and Photo Imaging, you will learn to apply a range of essential photographic visual, technical and creative skills that take your images to the highest standard – enabling you to get work in the industry. You’ll also be encouraged to publish and share your photography and visual content online in a professional and strategic way.
PSC is a community of experienced practitioners and educators with national and international profiles in the areas of documentary, photojournalism, art, commercial photography, photobook publishing, curation and photographic theory.
