I am a fine art and commercial photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. As an artist and a human I am primarily interested in people - what we do, our motivations and how we interact within our world. Previously my work has explored the complex relationships between humans, nature and the environment we have built around us. More recently I have turned to looking at human motivation and how our primitive brain can drive us, often with less noble intentions.
My fine art work involves contemporary digital photography and analogue processes varying from film to tintypes and wet plate collodion photography. Underpinning my work is a strong thread of concepts and ideas and my photography is innovative, contemporary and sometimes challenging. A definite highlight of 2017 was being nominated as a finalist for The Bowness Prize at MGA. My commercial work keeps me busy with a number of medium to large regular corporate clients as well as some ad hoc work.
