PSC is a dual sector provider offering both Degree and Advanced diploma courses. Both courses have been developed with the specialised industry knowhow that comes from 40 years as a well-respected, innovative and experienced photographic educator.

Both courses are delivered over three years of full time study. The broad structure enables students to explore photojournalism, commercial, art photography in the first and second years, before deciding on a major area in the final year.

BACHELOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

The Bachelor of Photography course V14334 is exclusive to PSC and is designed to produce distinctive and innovative professional photographers and image makers prepared to take on leading roles in the global photography and creative industries. Students are encouraged to explore creative approaches to the possibilities of image making, producing conceptual portfolios that are underpinned by meaning and relevant techniques. Students apply their learning both on location and in the studio in practical, independent and interpretive ways and in final year are guided through an independent study in commercial, photojournalism or art photography. The course promotes independent critical and creative thinking, inquiry and contemporary creative practice.
