What is PSC like?
PSC provides a small, friendly and creative learning environment with a great student to teacher ratio. Our students are encouraged, challenged and motivated to explore the world anew and give expression to what you see.
That's what sets our students apart and makes the difference; they learn to make photographs not just take photographs.
What our students say:
I came across PSC from browsing the internet and when I came to visit I instantly knew that it was the place for me. I like that it was small and personable, I knew I would not be another number. I was also impressed by the work the students were producing.
My journey has been one of joy. The past few months have challenged my old brain and given me so much pleasure. The course is exactly what I had hoped for. The tutors are all talented artists and generous with their time and information.
The one word I can definitely use to describe my journey at PSC is growth. As each semester passes you realise just how much your work has changed, and it’s not just your work, but also you as a person. You learn so many things, how to express yourself, how to tell a story, how to engage.
Straight away I was inspired at PSC, surrounded with amazing work and meeting like minded people and I took in every bit of advice the tutors had to offer. I felt I learnt just as much off other students also, it was really interesting watching everyone improveso much over the three years.
The mentor program and mentors were really good, I gained heaps from it including real work in the industry!
