ITC Express: Success
In conjunction with two other Independent Tertiary Colleges, Photography Studies College took part in the first ever ITC Express - Career Teachers Seminar, where Career Teachers from Secondary Schools all over Victoria got to experience three diverse leading institutions in one day.
The day started at ACNM (Australian College of Natural Medicine) where teachers gained insight into the world of private providers from ACPET's Laura Hougaz. Following an information session about ACNM, teachers boarded the ITC Express bus and were delivered to Photography Studies College. PSC introduced the teachers into the world of photography and the career opportunities that exist for up and coming photographers. Hearing from graduates and current students, the teachers were then given a tour of the college facilities and took part in their very own photo shoot. After their tour through PSC, the teachers were then bussed to the final destination; JMC Academy. During their time they were given the opportunity to talk to students and staff about the entertainment and creative industries as well as tour the impressive facilities JMC has to offer.
Finishing up after a whirlwind tour of three ITC's, career teachers were extremely impressed with individual providers and the concept of the "ITC Express". PSC looks forward to combining the efforts again next year for another successful event.
