A radio advertisement alerted me to the upcoming open day at PSC and on a whim, I decided to pop in and have a look. I had been considering doing a professional photography course for a while and thought this the perfect opportunity to find out more about what the college had to offer. My previous photography experience consisted of a couple of short courses and taking photos whenever I could. I was always frustrated by most of them not turning out the way I had hoped, with no idea how to fix the problems. I wanted to learn how to improve my photography as well as to develop my own creativity and style. Even in the short time I have been studying at PSC, I have learned so much about every aspect of photography, which I would never have learned myself. I now understand what I was doing wrong and am able to correct those problems before I even take the shot. I would certainly recommend PSC to anyone who was keen to learn about photography. I find my weekly nights at class fun, interesting and supportive. Most importantly, the teaching staff are passionate about photography which inspires me to keep trying new ideas and techniques to develop my own photographic style.
