Choosing to start a photography course and choosing PSC to study is the best thing I have ever done for myself , I would not hesitate to recommend PSC to anyone as it has opened my eyes and made me see things which I never would have seen.

The course has forced me to open my eyes and think outside the square.  It has forced me to do the types of photography I never thought I would do. It is virtually impossible to gain the inspiration and direction which my first term semester lecturers have given me.

I first heard about PSC through a friend in 2000.  In 2005 after owning an SLR for several years but not doing a lot with it, I purchased a digital camera and was hooked.  I began searching for a College to study at.  After I had looked around at all the photography schools in Melbourne and after speaking with a past student, professionals in the industry and having interviews with other schools I felt that PSC offered the broadest range of learning, which is what I needed since I am yet to decide what direction I would like to take with my photography.

My first impression of PSC was of the students work hanging at the College and the professional quality of the work.  There was enough equipment, such as dark room facilities, to go around and not be over crowded.  The people at PSC were professional, but is also has a more relaxed, creative environment which I felt would work for me and hopefully bring out the best in me.

All of questions were answered and they were answers which continued to draw me towards the decision to choose PSC.

I have now been studying here for a few months and know that I have made the right choice.

The industry highly regards the College and it has one of the best reputations in Victoria, if not Australia.  The lecturers are inspiring and give weekly feedback, the students are passionate and like minded and I can see myself making long term friends though the course and quite possibly business partners.

I have learnt a lot from my peers as well as the lecturers, by getting out and shooting with them as we all have our own style and see the world differently.
