Semester B (20 weeks)
-Course Dates |
||||
| Building on the first semester – semester A - you will now be challenged and guided to explore in greater depth the strategies and means to unleash your own creative process in the ‘making’ of photographs. You will actively challenge the meaning of genre photography and through your weekly sessions be encouraged and inspired to generate and refine the concepts, ideas and narrative that underpin your photographs. You will continue building on your control and photographic technique, giving a greater emphasis to the exploration and perception of light. Visual & Conceptual Development: BUILDING CREATIVITY & PHOTOGRAPHIC PRACTICE In this weekly session, you will actively explore the creative process while integrating aspects of technical, theoretical and conceptual principles of colour photography in the production of a body of folio work. DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT WORKING WITH LIGHTING & PHOTOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUE “I’ve loved photography for ages and I remember my very first evening at PSC – the course was so new and exciting, just what I was looking for at that stage of my life. My teachers were so enthusiastic and inspirational, and that really rubbed off on the students. I found the first year of the course was definitely my ‘life-changer’!”
