Selection into the Advanced Diploma of Photography course is based on completing a VTAC application meeting the entrance requirements and the PSC course requirements - these are the Extra Requirements: completing and submitting the PSC Course application Form, attending an interview and presenting a folio. The Folio: this should contain 10 – 15 images show a range of creative work demonstrating an exploration of ideas and themes. This together with your process workbook or ideas journal or visual diary should represent your ideas, concepts, inspirations, abilities and investigative process. The work should demonstrate creative potential and an aptitude for photography. You will be asked to talk about the folio you present. The interview: The interviewing team may be comprised of PSC staff, teachers or graduates it is personal and often one on one, allowing you the applicant to communicate your folio’s ideas and concepts, both visually and orally. In viewing and discussing your folio PSC is looking for evidence that your work demonstrates originality, creative and conceptual potential and a capacity for visual exploration. |
