PSC staff Sarina Lirosi shortlisted for the Artecycle Art prize

PSC staff Sarina Lirosi’s work has been shortlisted for the Artecycle art prize. Artecyle is an exhibition of sculptures and installations, using reclaimed materials that explores themes of environmentalism and sustainability. Inspired by the venues’ history and a non-acquisitive prize pool of $14,000, it attracts artists from all over Australia.

Artecycle 2012 will be judged by Doug Hall, AM, Australian Commissioner, Venice Biennale, 2011 and former director of the Queensland Art Gallery.

Artecycle 2012 and will feature 27 works to exhibit inside the gallery and in the surrounding grounds.

Winners will be published when they have been announced on 17 May 2012.
