F Stop- Think Inside the Square

As part of the 2011 Ballarat International Foto Biennale, we are running a photography competition in conjunction with Fed Square

F Stop- Think Inside the Square

F Stop begins with two elements.
1) Each photograph must be taken within Fed Square.
2) The four photographs must include the letters, or representations of, B, I, F, B. One letter per photograph.

There are separate categories for amateur and professional photographers.
Prizes include a place in John Gollings’ masterclass during BIFB’11, one nights accomodation in Ballarat and Lowepro camera bags.
The winning images will be included in a screen based presentation during BIFB ’11. All submitted entries will be shown on screen at Fed Square.

Details:
Competition will run from Wednesday June 1- Sunday July 24, 2011.
The competition will be judged on August 29 at Federation Square by The BIFB’s Julie Millowick, Photographer and Lecturer in Photography & Photojournalism at LaTrobe Uni Bendigo, Kate Brennan, Chief Executive Officer, Fed Square Pty Ltd and Stephen Zagala, Monash Gallery of Art Curator. Winners will be announced on the screen at Federation Square and notified in writing.
